SAM  RANHORSE

Sam was the younger brother of Ambrose Roanhorse, one of the most influential Native American Silversmiths, and an instructor to many students who went on to be outstanding artists. His Brother Sam, was one of them.  Sam worked for many of the leading shops.  This piece is not typical of most of his work.  However, artists are always looking to develop  new ideas. 

 

The Turquoise is a very nice piece of "Sleeping Beauty Details: Tip to Tip 5 1/2 inch,  gap 1 1/4 inch. Weight 14 grams
